Of course the tables looked great, we simply followed the lead of 3 very talented and thoughtful ladies who not only did an exception job the year before, but had the forethought to give us the majority of what we'd need in years to come. Though ya'll were not there, you were in our minds, and obviously you were very much present and helpful in making the event the success it was. Thanks.

BTW this also means I'm an official product endorser for Vic Firth as well, which I'm proud to do. I've used VF products religiously throughout my career. Also, the NEAC band uses the Vic Firth/Jim Kilpatrick model KP2 exclusively!

A recorder can also be a necessary tool for memorizing. Think you got the tune memorized correctly? Record it, then play it back and follow the sheet music. Then try again.

Hey Danny - just found this little blurb about the fantastic job you did for our wedding while surfing around the net today. Back to work - back to reality - and back with some astounding memories of our wedding ceremony that you helped make!

Danny's professionalism, courtesy and effort that he put into piping for our wedding was simply stellar. He had the utmost respect for our guests and our ceremony - but above all he played the pipes of my homeland perfectly and he should make you all very proud!

My only complaint is that - as the blushing bride - I was locked away in an office getting ready and managed to miss the majority of Danny's excellent and moving performance that he gave for our guests!!! :-) Maybe one day we'll have to hire you again just so we can enjoy you and your wonderful talent for bagpiping without the distraction of a wedding! ;-)

Once again - Danny you did us proud. I really don't have any other way to say it. Our guests and families were all impressed beyond words and we ourselves are forever indebted to you for the way in which you moulded our wedding day into something living and breathing and unique to us.

Would like to interview one or more members of the NEA Caledonians for my weekly radio program "Music from the Isles." KASU-FM 91.9 Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. (also Saturdays at 5 a.m.) The program is recorded in advance, usually on Thursdays in KASU studios. I can do this over the phone with one person, or in the studio with a couple. I could also bring a portable digital recorder to one of your practices. David, I know you and your parents of course. And you played the pipes at our daughter's wedding, JUNE '05. I'm excited about this.
