UPGRADES!
Well, the results have been posted. and it is with immense pride, and extreme pleasure that the Northeast
Arkansas Caledonian Pipes and Drums, announces that our Pipe Sgt, Danny Vaughn of Hoxie, has been promoted from the Grade 4 senior division in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association to Grade 3.
The EUSPBA covers some or all of 25 states from Maine to Texas, and the upgrade from Grade 4 to Grade 3 in solo competition is a testament to the hard work and improving excellence in Mr Vaughn's all around playing. The change in grade also moves him from a pool of almost 800 pipers to a smaller more elite pool of less than 300.
Please join us in congratulating Danny on this achievement, and we look forward to his continued success and promotions in the year 2009.
Also upgraded from Arkansas in the Solo rankings was Lyle Adams from central Arkansas, and the Pipes and Drums of Lyon College, were moved up from Grade 4 to Grade 3.
Well done Danny, Lyle and the entire Lyon band.
